Oh so what if I'm a bit late. Life happens. Here are my January Favorites of the new year. Can't tell a lie, its mainly beauty but you get the gist. Also I realized like a whole two days after I took this picture that I forgot my bathing suit. Whoops.
Apparently you guys missed my favorites, who knew? Well here are these amazing products I have been loving since the last time I did a favorites video.
Glitter is basically my new obsession. Anything shiny. I am like a puppy who gets distracted by a slight glimpse of light. If you haven't already seen my video on how to do a decorated face, click here (or watch below).
See anything that shines must be on my face somehow. This week I decided to do a trend I have seen all over the runways.
Sadly, this look is mainly done with silver and gold. Not many decided to go wild and do a color. Since dying my hair blue, I have been drawn to do more looks with blue, so blue brows it was.
How To Do Glitter Brows:
Step 1: Find a shadow of the glitter you want to put on your brows. Apply that.
Step 2: Use an eyelash glue (or if your shadow is sticky that will do) and using a brush, place the glitter on the brows.
Step 3: Using a brow brush, comb through.
Step 4: Look sick as heck.
While this look may not be for everyone it is certainly fun and I couldn't stop smiling while wearing them.
It is the little things people that make the world just a tad less miserable. Now, personally I decided to rock a blue lip with the look but that is not by any means necessary. And if the colored brow isn't your thang, just stick with the gold or silver. Both are amazing colors for this wintertime.
So glitter isn't even the slightest of things you want to deal with because lets be real, I am still finding it all over my house; check out my tutorial on "Browscara" which is just colored brows (that stay).
Make up is meant to be fun and if looking cray is holding you back, realize this, everyone is more worried about themselves than you. Own your look and have a bit of fun.
Just a heads up, this get does a bit messy so make sure you do it over a sink or a towel for easy clean up!
Until next time!
XOXO

HOW IS MARCH ALREADY OVER? I graduate at the end of this month. WTF. You don't care. Okay, let's get to it. Here are my March Favorites and where you can purchase them!
That is it! A short and sweet March favorites, that I hope you enjoyed. Don't forget to watch my video about the products to see why they were my favorites!
I'm back at it with neon nails, in the pursuit of the perfect yellow. I think I did pretty well this time around.
LOOK HOW BRIGHT!
It is an Orly varnish which I have never tried but was super happy with it. I have worn it for over a week and still no cracks. Also, it only took 3 coats to achieve this color! Woot!
For my birthday, I received so many nail varnishes! Like loads, I can't wait to try them all out. Anyway, one of my good friends, Amanda, gave me a matching set of nail colors that she thought would look good together. I decided to try them out this week to let you know.
I can't tell a lie, I am not a patient nail varnish dryer so there may be a few starched but the color is so amazing!
They were Maybelline's line called Color Show. The colors go on super smooth and if you wait the allotted time, they would stay that actual smooth (whoops)!
So Bam! There they are, you know I am a fan of dark nails and this was a wonderful change for my nail beds. They have to chip horribly after 5 days so I am a fan!
Tis the season for monthly favorites! If you haven't seen the video where I explain why I love everything, click here! See where you can buy each item by clicking the item in the caption below the picture!
College is awesome. A time to go out, meet people, hit up the bars but somedays, you just need a relaxing night in. And that is just what I did this past Saturday. If you ever want a relaxing night in, just check out this blogpost for some ideas!
My skin has been acting up a lot lately as I have been working out more and eating healthier (my body is in complete shock to be truthful) so I decided to have a makeup free night and treat myself a bit. I first started with a Facial Clay Mask in Avocado and Oatmeal.
Put it on a damp face, wait of for it to dry and harden, then wash off with warm water. Pat dry.
Since giving up soda, I have gotten back on my teeth whitening regiment aka putting these strips on my teeth for 30 minutes once a day. The Crest 3D Whitestrips with Advanced Seal are a tad expensive but these are the best I found that are worth the money!
After taking care of my skin and teeth, I decided to do a bit of baking. These were so easy to make! Each packet of Betty Crocker's Chocolate Chip Muffin Mix make about 6 muffins and costs around $1.50 so I bought two packets and went to work.
In a large mixing bowl, I put both packets in and since each packet called for 1/2 cup of water, I put in 1 cup of water and mixed! Yummmmy.
After greasing up the pan, I filled up each up about halfway and popped them in oven at 350F for 20 minutes.
Of course, while they were baking, the ever important BuzzFeed quizzes took over. So much fun on a relaxing night in.
20 minutes and bam, the delicious muffins were done and looking delicious.
Before settling in for the night, I made a cuppa which of course I use Lipton Black Tea, a bit of Domino Sugar and Skim Milk.
That is the end of my relaxing night in! Some facials, moisturizing, whitening, baking muffins, tea all happened and it all ended with a marathon of Gossip Girl, starting with the Season 1 Episode 1. I hope you enjoyed this bit different of a blogpost. It was certainly a lovely night in, as much as I love going out and hanging with friends, sometimes a cozy night in on a snowy fall day is all you need.
I also did my nails, well my roommate did my nails, so be sure to follow my blog to see this week's Nail Varnish of the Week!
