Spring Break. The time every college student heads to warmer weather and beaches to get wasted every day and night. Sounds like the dream. But for some of us who, 1) shoutout to Pitt for having different spring breaks than all other schools, 2) can't afford it, 3) just don't want to do that, Spring Break means heading home and hanging with the rents. I did that my freshman and sophomore years of college. My junior year, I stayed in my single room and hung out around campus by myself (watch the video here). But this year, my senior year, I knew I had to do something different.
I headed to Disney.
Yup, I spent my senior Spring Break in Orlando, FL; far away from beaches, clubs and crazy EDM concerts but not far from fun and memories I will always remember. Shout out to Amanda for being my partner in crime as we took on Disney and Universal.
I'm not saying the typical Spring Break is bad because its not, my friends went to Cancun and Miami and looked like they had an amazing time but my speed is much more family friendly vacations and hot tubs.
The reason for this blogpost was to just say to do your own thing. Spring Break is meant for relaxation and fun before really working hard for the next few months on schoolwork. Don't feel that you need to have the stereotypical "Spring Break," or do, no one is stopping you.
If you haven't seen what I got up to during my break, here are my weekly vlogs about both (Week 1 // Week 2) And if you want a play by play of what we did, head over to Amanda's blog!
